A Booking-First Rebuild for a Mobile DJ Company
CNY Sound runs weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Central New York. The old site undersold all of it. I rebuilt it to make the services obvious, the proof visible, and the inquiry the easiest step on the page.
CNY SOUND
Overview
Weddings, private events, and corporate work each got their own landing page, written for search and built to capture leads. A custom CMS handles events and testimonials, and rebuilt inquiry forms cut the time it takes to respond to a lead.
I started with an audit of the old site and found the same two problems everywhere: visitors couldn’t tell the services apart, and nothing pushed them toward an inquiry. CNY Sound and I defined the audiences that matter and rebuilt the structure around them.

The Challenge
The old website had no clear structure, barely worked on mobile, and read much smaller than the business actually is.

CNY Sound competes with national chains on one side and hobby DJs on the other. The site had to make the difference obvious in the first few seconds.
CNY SOUND
The Solution
A clean, responsive layout with bold visuals and one clear call to action per audience. Separate service pages with targeted copy, a CMS for testimonials and recent events, and automated inquiry routing so no lead sits unanswered.

The rebuild also raised site speed and search visibility. I wrote a plain-English CMS guide so the team keeps content current without calling me for every change.
